Author & Researcher
Raquel Digati, PhD. in Cultural Anthropology, was born and raised in Bristol, Rhode Island (yep, another Native "Rho - Dilander" and she's Portuguese, just like the Root Queen) so how could I not post something on my home-girl?
Rocky has lived in many places along the way and is proud to once again call a small shoreline town in her native state Rhode Island home. Growing up she enjoyed hearing the stories of her heritage, local hauntings, mysteries and legendary New England lore.
She has been in the field of historical research for nearly twenty years and joined CAIPRS (Cape and Island Paranormal Research Society) in 2003. She has enjoyed adventures in creative writing and has lectured at the Rhine Center for Parapsychology on the subject of the Lizzie Borden Murders. With cemetery and funerary history a favorite subject, she manages to dig up something interesting wherever she goes and works as a research historian. Her spare time is spent with family, friends and her faithful beloved dog.
In August 2003, her latest book, "History and Mystery: The Macabre World Of New England and Beyond", carried at Erzulie's, was finally released to rave reviews! We are thrilled to include Rocky in the Erzulie's family!
